"And when it's over I know how it's gonna be."
Long time no post, so here's some random things. In other news, I didn't know that YouSendIt was only good for seven days. That? Sucks. Very much. So I'm gonna switch to using something else soon. If anyone has suggestions, I'd like 'em.

Can I Go Nowhere With You by the Joel Plaskett Emergency. The beat of this song could take over the world. Not to mention that Joel is a god. I love songs in which people take the Dartmouth ferry into Halifax.

Love Ain't For Keeping by the Who. I saw the Who on Saturday night, in case you hadn't heard. The rocking my socks off. Seriously, right? They could beat up Slipknot, they're that hardcore.

Trailer Trash by Modest Mouse. I never really was into MM until one day, driving in the car of a certain Emu-kid, this tune came on the radio. He sent it to me the next day at my request, and thus began our love affair. It's got a really neat sort of lilt to it.

Swing, Swing (acoustic) by the All-American Rejects. Mannn, this tune is sooo much better acoustic. You can really hear the whine in Tyson's voice, and yet it stays in tune. It's just a fun, teenaged little song.

My Maria by Brooks and Dunn. Cunt-ry, huh. This song reminds me of many a drunken sing-along over the summer. I tried not to like it, and failed miserably. When that guitar starts up at the end, I get this ridiculous grin on my face.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. This song is so beautiful. It's a mellow little ditty, and puts me right to sleep, with beautifully light vocals and soft, plinking guitar.

Be My Lover by Alice Cooper. I'm going to see Alice Cooper play with the Stones on Saturday. This is one of my favorite Alice tunes for sure. Upbeat, and fun.

O Mary Don't You Weep by Bruce Springsteen. Another one from the Seeger Sessions. The fiddle at the beginning of this song is so much love. As is the choir, and the drumming. I like to turn this song way up when I'm feelin' blue. It cheers me up.
